VPOP3
We want to make VPOP3 even better, so please let us know your ideas for improvements, or vote for other people’s ideas.
Note that when we are choosing what features to add, we look at both the number of votes, and the complexity of the issue, so something with a few votes may be added when something with lots of votes isn’t, because it was much easier to do.
Also note that ‘faking’ votes from multiple people to try and get something done sooner will not work. (Some of the current ‘highest voted’ issues are all votes from the same person, under different names).

Auto-clear autoresponder
Have an option to auto-clear the autoresponder when the time period for the auto responder has expired. Users forget to click the "Clear autoresponder" button and are then confused as to why it is not responding.

Add new option to status monitor to connect any of mail connectors
By adding this option we will be able to connect any mail connectors we choice first to
download all the new messages, then vpop3 will continue to normal sequence to get new
messages from other mailbox.
Ex. We have in the list 20 mailbox we need to connect first to # 17 there are animportant message in this mailbox, we need to downloaded first before other mailbox
message’s.

Spam forwarding from within VPOP3 Administration Page
When looking at a user's e-mail from the Admin/Users page, it would be nice to be able to tag all of the messages that are spam. This would be much easier than having to log-in to individual accounts from webmail.

Ability to hide users from Address Book
It would be great if we could get back the "hide" feature from earlier versions of VPOP. When employees are terminated, we leave their emails in tact for a few months and monitor them rather than forwarding the box to someone. For us, It is was a helpful tool in keeping the company address book clean.

Display which user added an address to the whitelist
If a user adds an address to the whitelist, either via the settings, by releasing a message from the quarantine, or by sending a message to an external address, remember which user did it the first time, and display that in the whitelist settings.

spam report for all users
As the postmaster for a few small VPOP installations, I monitor the spam lists daily. Instead of having a report for each user, I would like one email for the site with a list of all the spam ordered by increasing score.

Access Quarantine through IMAP-Folder
It would be nice to have a quarantine-folder in the IMAP-account so that the user can easily move junk into and remove false positives from this folder.

Scan attachments after an anti-virus update
I've noticed that AVAST! doesn't initially detect virus-laden attachments at the time the e-mail is received but a few hours later will detect it when I attempt to forward the message to the spam box. It would be great if there was a way to re-scan user e-mails and attachments after every anti-virus update so that more virus-laden e-mails were caught before a user downloaded them using POP3.

Re-enable the filter options in the administrator user inbox preview.
Re-enable the filter options in the webadmin>user>inbox preview. Extend the "message query" with filter options on sender and subject.
I understand the change in the interface (collecting only 500 messages). Extending the message query to select only a maximum of 500 messages which math the "where clause" ain't all that difficult.
That we as users have the ability to click through pages makes it somewhat harder to do...

Have checkbox in status monitor to always show timestamp
Currently you have to right-click an activity log entry to view the time stamp.
This idea is to have a checkbox to show the timestamp next to the entry in the list (will reduce the space available for the entry text)

Have shortcut buttons in settings
Eg for commonly used tasks be able to add shortcut links into settings pages somewhere
(ideas welcome)

Built-in AVAST! virus submittal
I'd like a method for submitting potential viruses that have been missed by AVAST! directly to the vendor.

Services via groups
I would like to be able to assign what services can be used via a group. This way if you only want your users using IMAP instead of pop three you can turn the pop three off in the group and be done with it.
What I envision is create the group as you do now, disable the unneeded services and then add your users to the group. Instead of having to not allowing users to connect to services for each user.

Webmail setting to use basic rather than enhanced
It would be nice to have a setting in webmail so that whenever I login I get taken to basic interface, rather than having to login then select it. The enhanced interface does not work flawlessly in Firefox, especially with actions like moving messages. Plus I prefer the basic interface for its simplicity.

Documentation of the PostgreSQL tables so that we can access them via ODBC for reporting purposes
If ODBC/OLEDB drivers for PostgreSQL are available, some documentation of the table structures could facilitate all manner of useful reporting-type functionality for companies with the relevant technical resources. The ability to interrogate the tables of users, mappings and/or lists via an API, for example, would enable a much greater degree of integration between VPOP3 and other applications.

LAN Forwarding queue size
For those of us who make extensive use of "LAN Forwarding", it would be very handy to be able to see the current size of the queue within the Status Monitor. The ability to click-through directly into the queue would also be useful.
